7:00 PM - UCMS members and Board please plan to stay to discuss future direction of the UCMS

Learning Objectives
1. To identify and understand the surgical options for carotid artery stenosis and novel therapies.
2. To risk stratify options for stroke prevention in carotid artery stenosis.
3. To learn to identify patients who may benefit from TCAR.

Dr Michael Sywak MD

Dr. Sywak received his medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies, in 2011. He completed a general surgery residency at Waterbury Hospital (Yale Affiliate) in Waterbury, Connecticut, and a vascular surgery residency at Buffalo University (Gates Vascular Institute) in Buffalo, N.Y. He is board certified in general surgery and board eligible in vascular surgery. Dr. Sywak is a new member of the UCMS-TMA.
